The Research program is a new program developed by the director of the Institute of MERIT. Its formation is a direct result of the observation that students who driven to do research in mathematics, often require the assistance of mentors outside of the public school system. These mentors make a living working with these children. Unfortunately most parents cannot afford to hire these specialists. A need for such a program to be developed and to be tuition-free can help alleviate the inequity of this situation.
Thanks to the generous donation of two prominent members of society, we are able to reopen the doors to students interested in furthering their mathematical research skills for next year. After that additional funding will be required. Please consider helping us out with any amount you can comfortably afford.
