Elliott Bird: Elliott is a Professor of Mathematics, Emeritus, from C. W. Post campus of Long Island University with a Ph.D. in mathematics. Besides publishing several articles on the teaching of mathematics, most notably on problem solving, he has given many talks and workshops on Long Island, in New York, and throughout the country. Most recently he has been involved with the Eastern Suffolk BOCES as a member of their Network Team for the NYSED Common Core initiative. For many years he has been a consultant in many school districts on Long Island where he has had the opportunity to spend several hours each week in elementary and middle school classrooms.
Scott Bronson: Scott is the manager of Government Relations and Strategic Engagement for Brookhaven National Laboratory’s (BNL) Stakeholder Relations Office. He has a strong background in government and stakeholder relations, strategic partnerships, science and technology policy, DE&I, science communication, and STEM workforce development.
Ronni David: Ronni is Past President of the Association of Teachers of Mathematics of New York City, an officer in NYSAMS and has served on the executive boards of AMTNYS and NCMTA. She is currently a supervisor of student teachers at Queens College/CUNY.
Smriti Kapur: Smriti is a mathematics teacher at Valley Stream South school district. Smriti graduated from SUNY Old Westbury in June 2023.
Ron Labrocca: Ron was a math teacher until he became a math chairman in 1985. Currently he is the supervisor of mathematics, business and computer education for the Hicksville Public Schools.
Ron Lancaster: Ron taught middle and high school mathematics for over 20 years. He is now a Senior Lecturer in mathematics education at OISE/UT. Additionally Ron works as a mathematics consultant for international, private & public schools, educational organizations, and technology companies.
Cindy Lawrence: Cindy spent sixteen years as the national editor for a professional review course, writing curriculum and addressing questions from students and instructors worldwide. She created and directs a math program for gifted middle and high school students run through a joint venture with Brookhaven National Labs. Currently she is the Executive Director for MoMath, the National Museum of Mathematics.
Karen Lee: Karen received her Doctorate of Medicine from Northwestern University and does some teaching at Mount Sinai. Her father was Dr. Jong Pil Lee, the founder and director of this project.
Rajeev Nischal: Rajeev is an Innovative and self-motivated hands-on development manager with over 20 years of professional experience and excellent people development and analytical/problem-solving skills. He currently manages a mixed team of full-time, vendors staff ranging from rookies to seasoned developers and is responsible for handling large scale mission critical services (e.g. GTM, LTM). Rajeev has developed and executed strategies to port services onto Cloud platforms including a migration path for the clients to switchover to a cloud-based offering.
Aruneesh Salhotra: Aruneesh has had his children participate in the ICPS program and was interested in giving back to make sure that the program continues tuition-free. Currently he works for Nomura Securities as the Technical Program Manager within the CTO organization and DevOps, working towards modernizing the bank. He has varied experience ranging from Cloud Computing, Audit, Telecommunications, E-Commerce, Technical Sales.
Frank Sanacory: Professor of Mathematics at the College at Old Westbury. Some of the responsibilities that I have here include: teaching classes, the Math Club, honors college theses and my own research in the area of the Geometry of Banach spaces.
Geta Techanie: Assistant Professor of Mathematics at SUNY Old Westbury, who received the 2011 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in teaching.
Glen Whitney: Glen Whitney was a teacher at the University of Michigan, and then became an analyst at Renaissance Technologies. Dr. Whitney is the Co-Executive Director for MoMath, the National Museum of Mathematics. He is working to change public perceptions of mathematics, and to improve the way we educate our youth in this country.
