Our support of LIMAÇON, the Long Island Mathematics Conference, is one of the most successful one-day math conferences in the Country. Approximately 600 attendees partake in the 50 original and exciting presentations given by speakers from across the Nation. Teachers from all of New York State, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania are sent here by their school districts to:
•Enhance their knowledge base.
•Become more aware of current trends in pedagogy, assessment, and curriculum variations (Common Core State Standards).
•Learn how to incorporate technology into their lessons.
•Develop a deeper understanding of the underlying principles they are teaching the children.
•Share experiences with teachers outside their immediate surroundings.
